Global demands and an increasingly competitive business environment in the oil and natural gas industry have created new measures by which organizations must demonstrate their abilities. Some of Logan Oil Tools' manufacturing facilities have been assessed by the American Petroleum Institute Quality Registrar (APIQR) and found to be in compliance with the following quality system standard:
ISO 9001:2000
The scope of this registration and the approved quality management system applies to the
- Manufacture of Fishing Tools and Related Components
- General Machining Operations
- Provision of Threading Services Under IAF Scope Category 17
Some of Logan Oil Tools' manufacturing facilties have been an APIQR ISO 9002:1994 Registrant since August 12, 2002.
API Spec Q1 Registered
Registration No. Q1-0040
API Spec Q1 includes all of the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 while at the same time maintaining the additional quality control requirements that are considered valuable to the oil and gas industry.
The American Petroleum Institute (API) certifies that the quality management system of some of
Logan Oil Tools' manufacturing facilities have been assessed by API and found to be in compliance with the quality system requirements of API Specification Q1.
The scope of the registration and the approved quality management system applies to the:
- Manufacture of Fishing Tools and Related Components
- General Machining Operations
- Provision of Threading Services Under IAF Scope Category 17
APIQR has approved Logan Oil Tool’s justification for excluding Section 7.3, Design and Development.
Certificate of Authority to Use the Official API Monogram
License No. 7-0388
In an effort to bring the worldwide oil and natural gas industry the product quality it demands, the API Monogram Program was developed by the industry and the customers it serves. The API Monogram has been the oil and natural gas industry's benchmark for oilfield equipment and product service, safety, and quality since 1924. Every day around the world, the oil and natural gas industry relies on equipment and products emblazoned with the API Monogram to get the job done right. The API Monogram lets companies show the world what they’re made of.
The American Petroleum Institute (API) has granted some of Logan Oil Tools' manufacturing facilities the right to use the official API Monogram on its manufactured products under the conditions outlined in API Spec Q1 and API Spec 7, and in accordance with the provisions of the license agreement.
The scope of this license includes threading for rotary shouldered connections.
API registration is maintained and regularly monitored through scheduled surveillance audits.
